anyone remember the thomas knight motorsports electric supercharger kit that was out for awhile. had a really powerful electric motor attached to a eaton style charger and could boost 10psi. it could only run for like 1 min at a time though.

no I'm not joking, actually come to think of it maybe I should go single turbo and then put one on either side of the turbo, you know, on the inlet and then on the exhaust outlet to increase the outflow as well as the inflow, and maybe one routed into the car cabin for hairdrying on the way to work .

ah ah aha!! you were a probe person also!! lol. my probe was a hand-me-down from me to my little bro and went through nitrous->supercharging-> motor rebuild->twin turbo->then single turbo as it is now because the single was much less headaches. we finally sold it to some high school kid that lives down the street from my parents. so that car still terroizes my same old high school. lol.

Haha ya I was. I guess there is a lot of us converts around here. Easy to see why, the styling of the two cars are very similar. I remember I parked my PGT next to a miata and an FD and it was like a family photo ha. Mine never made it very far mod wise, but It did move from FL to NM to FL to NM and then back to FL where it is floating around beat to hell somewhere. As a matter of fact my foundation of turbo knowledge came from the old mIRC days chatting in the Probe channel around the time of the first Myrtle meet! If you remember the stories from that meet, mine was the SE stuck on the top of the parking garage the whole weekend lol. I wonder where those photo's ended up??

Kaotic Dan and rt turbo, I'm still driving a little MX-3. It's not turbo, but it has the 2.5L KL-ZE and a bunch of "solid" (literally) mods. I can't wait to put a flywheel and clutch on an FD with coilovers/motor mounts/etc...

Dude, just get one of those cig lighter inverters and plug your hair dryer in, it will be much cheaper. If you get one big enough you can plug in your electric shaver AND your hair dryer!

Website Quote:

Force Flow do not claim that the Electric Intake Supercharger will produce results comparable with that of a traditional supercharger or turbocharger, if you are looking for a 25% gain in power output, you will need to spend the $3000 - $8000 on supercharger or turbo modifications.

At least they are honest. This might be a decent mod for a NA application though.
