I started an earlier string regarding altering the height of the seat to allow additional clearance. After some additional research I determined that Miata or seats fitting a Miata will drop right into the FD. My question before I buy and FD is what is the height of the seat from the floor. I need this info to compare with Miata seat height and/or aftermarket suppliers to see if they are lower.

Unfortunately I am 6'3 230 lbs, great for sports, lousy for sportscars, especially japanese car. Since I love the FD, I need to find a way to fit!
