I would think it would be hard to fit that on the FD due to need braces and the piping situation. What kinda piping do you plan on using? Also i would think that there is a difference in brands of ICs just with more of the quality and things of that such. I was think about the over all idea of it a little more and see how close you are going to get to a New/Used Greddy FMIC.

The first one's cheap but looks like you'll have to spend a small fortune on piping. The second one is just too large. Personally I'd prefer the narrower older version of the Greddy intercooler that leaves about 3 inches of space either side to allow some air through to the radiator.

I'd have to agree with the crowd on this one. I have my own opinions on FMIC's and the brands that sell them. But something that I personally wouldn't be willing to skim on is something that's gonna keep my intake air charge temps down. I think it would be more than worth the extra money to find yourself a used GReddy or Apex'i unit. I'd hate to see you buy one of those, spend the fortune on piping and then have it fail only to result in a blown motor. Hope that helps some. Laterz.

I have installed a Blitz FMIC on my FD and a Greddy Two Row to two other friend's FDs and even with all the hardware it was difficult. You have to be concern about radiator brackets, battery relocation or resize and the custom piping my be the hardest. Hey, if you are one who are handy with tools, you can do it bud!! IMAO, I would just pay an extra 400 for a greddy 2row. Good luck.
