CA FMIC with CX Racing Radiator Fitment?

Hey Guys,
I'm thinking about taking out my SMIC and moving up to a FMIC (since I don't have the time or the money to weld the radiator properly for V-mount). My concern is fitment with the CX Racing Radiator... it is extremely thick in comparison to other available radiators for our application.

Any point in the right direction will help. I'd hate to have to downgrade back to a stock radiator for fitment.

Thanks Guys

With my Koyo and Blitz FMIC i had to make a custom bracket so it would fit. Had the core been the same thickness as the stock radiator it would have been fine. I'm not sure how other FMIC wold have worked. I'm sure it depends on what FMIC you are going with.

This is just an idea to consider. If you ultimately want to go Vmount, why not just wait until you have the time/money to weld the radiator and just do the Vmount. It will keep you from spending time/effort/money with something you wish to replace in the future anyway.

I really only bring it up b/c I did the same thing. At the time I could not afford a Vmount and had a perfectly working smic setup. I purchased the greddy fmic to only a little over a year later rip it out and finally go Vmount. Now I am MOST definitely glad I finally went Vmount, but kinda regret going through the headache of the fmic.

You have such a clean looking car I would hate to see you put something in just to redo it later with what you really wanted.

^That's a better idea.

Only reason i went with the Blitz is it was given to me. Had i been purchasing a IC i'd have most defiantly saved and gone Vmount
