I still think the BLITZ is the best choice all around only drawback is your M2 intake might be a little tight...
But...
1) AC will work fine, sets it up similar to a Supra FMIC
2) Bumper support not screwed with
3) Cools turbo charged air wonderfully, and doesn't seem to get heat soak
4) looks the best I'm sure A-spec has got my back on this one too...

Hope I don't BLITZ repeat myself BLITZ too much...
BLITZ and pay no BLITZ attention to the BLITZ subliminal messages BLITZ! Because I am BLITZ completely non-biased BLITZ on this subject.

By the way the turbo street fighter kit pipes do look "ghetto" and not "ghetto fabulous" like the other kits. Plus at $1400 it's up around the fashion kit with not much hardware included...

HOW ABOUT HKS

No one mentioned the HKS FMIC. Is it any good. I tired ordering one but it got backordered. So i went with the blitz instead and waiting for it now. I wanted the HKS becuase of their superior name and becuase the type s was good for the stock twins or a single. Anyone with opions on the HKS FMIC. good? bad? even? ANyone have pics of it mounted or unmounted for the FD.

If you do a search in the 3rd gen section, there is someone that recently installed the HKS fmic and posted pics. I didn't like it too much.

seeing as i purchased the apexi fmic first and then the greddy 3row fmic. the greddy is larger and much prettier looking with polished endtanks and polished ic piping. the apexi has ugly blue piping and not polished. i have seen the apexi fmic mounted on wankawankel's car and the condensor does sit horizontal give it zilch air flow. my 3row came with new coils. overall the greddy is a nicer unit but also more expensive over $300 more. i have a T78 kit so i wanted to go with a greddy fmic after i originally was getting an xs t04s and apexi fmic. pix are here www.vosko.net/photos/3row/ i will have install pix as soon as its installed

Vosko, Good choice, I went with the Greddy 2 row since I'm not planning on pushing pass 15psi. I had the same problems with the Apexi kit too. I hated the blue pipes with red hoses, I thought they looked gay.

Looks like you have more toys to be installed

Here's the 2 row installed :http://communities.msn.com/Meko/phot...oto&PhotoID=54

Cool

Blitz seems to have the best design and that's what I plan on getting.

Can any of you guys with a FMIC take a shot from under the front bumper/nose looking up? I haven't had my FD long, but I went in there to swap out the stock radiator with a Fluidyne and noticed how tight things are up there.. how the heck does a front mount FIT up there? Does the radiator have to slide back away from the bumper support to allow the intercooler to slide in front of it?

What kind of FMIC do you have. Some of the FMIC mount where the reinforcement is and some like the blitz mount inside. I have a blitz and a sr motorsports radiator. I have no room left. I had to buy a summit fan in order for me to get cooling for my radiator. I have no fan support for my ac however. BUt the the blitz comes with new radiator brackets. You have to cut the old one off your current sway bar mount. Hope that helps.

Sheesh.. what a PITA to get a fmic installed.. I'd rather not hack up anything if I can avoid it. Seems like an M2 smic with a vented hood could be a much better application.

HKS is CARB legal...thats why I might go with it. If not I'd go with the Blitz for all the reasons stated above.
