Flywheel Removal
I am trying to remove a stock flywheel from my 13B-REW. I have searched through all of the threads and have tried all of the methods on this site about removing the flywheel. However, I still can't get teh flywheel off! I have the dreaded 2 1/8" nut taken off, but I can't get the acutal flywheel off of the e-shaft.
Can anyone please provide any information that might help me out?
Thanks!!!

I used a big gear puller attached to 2 bolts which I threaded into opposite sides of the flywheel about 6" apart. I cranked down on the gear puller until the 2 bolts started to bend and then I took a deadblow hammer and beat the hell the out of the flywheel until it popped off. Leave the big nut threaded on otherwise you'll be eating the flywheel.

I did the same thing, only I went through 4 bolts before it would fly off.

I usually take a BIG rubber mallet and beat the **** out of it, moving from side to side. Yes, leave the nut partially on because you don't wanna be under it, or try and catch it , when it comes loose .

Thanks for the quick replies.
I have tried a big gear puller and have bent two bolts pretty bad. I guess I will try again, while beating the **** out of it.
I am taking it that you guys are beating the actual flywheel surface?
