Flywheel: aluminum vs. chromoly

Any comments on whether the chromoly is worth the extra money over a steel faced aluminum flywheel?

Thanks

the material doesnt matter. its the weight of the flywheel.

a lighter flywheel will make your car revv up hella quick, but it will be a pain in the *** to drive in stop-n-go traffic.

most people go with a 9.5 pound flywheel for street applications. you might wanna upgrade your clutch while you're at it too. a 9.5 lb flywheel and ACT Street/Strip clutch is the most common combo.

I thought that although aluminium is cheaper it has a tendancy to warp if abused and may come apart if vivited. Steel although heavier is stronger. If weight is removed peripherally the heavier steel flywheel will be just as effective.
