That was the only reason we made them was because soooo many people were not getting anywhere with Fly pod and after a year of waiting they gave up. So I am not sure why you look at us as the bad guy ?? and actually suggest NOT to support us??
I think it is pretty obvious why I said people shouldn't support you. If what you say is true and you designed the pod from scratch then I don't have a problem and I think that is great. If you checked through the thread you would see that it was mentioned that the pods were the same. If you did in fact come up with your own design, I apologize and it is good that you cleared that up. I'd also take back that you wouldn't create anything new for our community.

A few more things we would like to add...

We have been making this pod for close to 2 years now, yes Fly pod was first, but local members came to our office with a "mock-up" pod and we used their car and the sample to create our pod. Remember this was years ago and they advised us that Fly pods was no longer making pods and would not respond to emails and phone calls. We made full cad drawings of our pod and made several changes to the mock up sample that was givent to us and we had three different test fittings before we went into production. Nobody stole the design, as Flypod mentioned if you look closely at each pc. they are vastly differrent in construction.

Our design is modular and each cup is seperate and goes together with an intricate groove and pin system giving the owner the ability to add or subtract cups as needed.

The depth of the pod can accomodate ANY length 52mm gauge and holds the gauge in with a hidden set screw for each cup.

The base is removeable so RHD owners can use the same pod-just remove-turn to face the driver and re-attach.

This multi part design allows the owner to replace any single part if the pod were to get damaged without having to buy a whole new unit.

Since they are a molded part their are no seams and we texture the parts to closely resemble the stock dash.

We support the Local mazda clubs, have mazda only dealers and are active on several forums.

Years ago when we made this part Flypod was thought to be gone and it was never our intention to compete with him. Many have come to us since and ask for us to make them in 60mm but we have not. The main reason was that about 6 months after we made these we heard flypod was back making pods and making 60mm sizes and we did not want to take away any 60mm size business from him as it never our intention to be a competitor but rather fill the need of the mazda community.

I for one I'm glad you made pods as it was nearly impossible to get a fly's pod. Shoot I remember people selling USED pods for like $300 sheesh... I ended up buying a tripower dual pod (before you made yours) and the freaking thing melted in the sun... Piece of crap.

I love my flyrx7 pod, even though it took a year to get. I love it even more filled with prosport premium gauges

I do like how the prosport pod is deeper, to accommodate deeper gauges, such as those long greddy gauges.

Yes they are deeper, to accomodate longer body gauges.
