well i searched by the other threads dont have the same symptoms....

hes whats happening. at idle there a definate fluterring sound up to 3000 rpm. then its gone. car boosts normal even to 12 psi. i can feel air being pushed upward when i slide my hand under the top intake piping

 

if it helps anyone in the future:

i took off the top intake pipe and the hose from the air pump was ripped in half. one new 4 inch piece of hose and vola. nice sounding rotary.

 

well, poo. . . i was hoping this would have something to do with the apexi bov. . . im getting severe compressor surge with mine. i cant seem to adjust it out.

how did yours do?
