searched.. but it seems like the other cars had different setup/issues

recently i've noticed that my car would jump up to 5k rpm and then go down to 3k.

i figure its just a boost spike? only happens if i would WOT on 5th gear. at 80mph

it would be gradual until 90mph where it jumps from 3k to 5k and then back to 3.5k

the boost gauge reads steady at .8 and slowly creeps to .9

whats going on specifically?

mods in sig + ported wastegate(not listed). stock cat still too.

 

Sounds like a bad tach signal or broken speedo...

 

Do you hear the engine rev up to match the tach? If so, slipping clutch? If not, then it must be an electronic thing.

 

Slipping clutch. It will get worse as the wear continues.
