Oh, yes, of course. This test is to be done with the car fully assembled and running, which is why it's a good first troubleshooting step. I do it with the front of the car lifted to make viewing the TCA easier. To view the CCA, you might need to remove an air intake hose or two.

If you have the UIM off, you can test the solenoids and actuators individually with a Mityvac.

Is your car together or torn apart?

Umm, Its Together Right Now But I Need To Get It Up On The Ramps Tonight To Change The Oil And Do These Tests. Im Also Going To Take Off The Uim To Try And Locate A Leaking/hissing Noise That I Hear As Well. Where Can I Get A Mityvac, Sears?

I've seen them at Sears and Autozone, but they only stock the kind that have vacuum-only on the gauge dial. Autozone does have it as one of their free rental tools - if you need it fast that's how I would do it.

If you're going to buy it, I recommend the Silverline Plus 4050 kit, which has pressure and vacuum on the same dial and switches modes easily. I found it on the internet for about $60.

Yep, it's often called a brake bleeding kit too.

Although call them first and make sure they have it. I can't find it listed on their website at the moment.
