Is this a problem, or should i get a fluadyne radiator? How much will this thing keep my engine heat under control? Also are there any other things i can do to keep my car from reaching high temps even when im not driving hard at all?
adam

YES. YES. and Yes. I used to see 210-230 in traffic with the OEM radiator (pre blockweld). With the Fluidyne, the highest I have seen is 210 with me trying to blow the motor in 94F ambient temperature.

The fan mod allows you to flip a switch, and have the fans come on in 2 minutes. You can run them as long as you want. It also allows you to run them for 10 minutes after you shut down the car. This will help cool the engine compartment, and keep your plastic from cooking so much. No one wants to do the hose job.

The Miata switch turns the fans on automatically, at a lower temperature than the stock switch. I believe the stock sensor turns the fans on at around 220. The miata switch is around 210. It won't allow you to run them by flipping a switch.

ok, so what would be better, a Koyo one or a Fluidyne one? As far as vertical mounting it for later on to make room for an FMIC or cooling capacity, how they fit... in general, aren't they about the same? Someone chime in and help me with differences or what they think is better. thx.
