Ok so i removed all factory sound deadening to replace with damplifier but there are some areas that i had to wire brush down and some metal is exposed. I would like to give the floor a good coat of some kind of rust preventing paint like VHT epoxy paint. Thing is it only comes in black and car is red. The damplifier is gonna go over the black epoxy paint then the rug is going back in should i worry about the under floor board being black and the car is red? Would it hurt resell value?

 

If some buyer is so **** that they'll pull the carpet up to check the paint color and go "Aha!" and try to bargain you down, you've got an ******* buyer.

In other words, I wouldn't worry about resale value.

You could also just prime it with a zinc primer then paint that with a red top coat.
