Better Looking In Person
I received my mats yesterday and of course installed them. I still have the factory mats and they look pretty good for being 12 years old. I matched them up with the ones from Anne and they were almost a perfect match. The only thing different was that the hole was a little bigger then factory and the letters were a little bigger, and to me that's a plus. I would recommend these mats to anyone that wants to freshen up their interior. The pics don't give these mats there due credit!! You have to see them in the car to realize how great they look!!! I'm the type of person that wants everything on the car to look factory or like it belongs there and these mats do just that. Hell, I have not yet seen one single body kit that didn't take away from the factory lines of the car to include the headlight conversions and so on. If you keep the car looking factory you will do it justice. JUST MY OPINION!!!!!

They do custom orders, too.
I just purchased a custom order of these - 2 driver's side and one passenger side. Since I drive 99% of the time with driver only (daily driver), the driver side gets worn out pretty fast. So, I can have a spare ready to go. Also, if I ever show the car, I can keep the 2nd driver side available for show-only, so it always looks spiffy.
Total price delivered was $145.00. If they look as good in the photos and perform as you all have reported, I'll be very happy. I love Cam at Pettit (got to help him bleed his brake at Laguna Seca a very years ago....lots of fun) but his TKT mats were too thin and my heel wore through after 2 or 3 years.

I'll try to post pics once they arrive. I'm certain they can make them in tan. This place seems to do lots of custom work, so you can pick and choose, no doubt.

I'm in Australia and own a 2000 Series VIII FD. I have just imported it from Japan. It's a 2 + 2 seater model and the floor mats were letting the car down because they were looking faded.
It's not so easy for me to track down new mats so I decided to buy some fabric dye and dye them black.
I tested it out on the rear floor mats first because I didn't mind if I stuffed em up.
They turned out sweet...

Old search brought good results
I wanted to post a couple of pics of the new floor mats I received yesterday. I ordered them on June 7 2010 and received them on June 15 2010. They look just as good as, they did four years ago. The same person makes them and the price is a hell of a lot cheaper than $160.00 plus shipping. For God’s sake, they are floor mats (THAT YOU PUT YOUR FEET ON) not dam_ seat covers!
I just purchased ANOTHER Rx-7 and the first thing I wanted was new floor mats. I have the originals but of course, the backing is falling off leaving a mess in the car. I did a quick search and found out someone was making them but once I found out they were so expensive I did a little more research and found the original person still makes them and now I have mats.

FWIW, I think I ordered the loop pile from them and it is showing a little wear after about 3.5 years...but nothing out of the ordinary.
As a side note...it was a little different ordering through email rather than a website, but I got mine in little more than a week and I've been happy. Fit was at least as good as factory.
