Flipping TPS
Hey guys,
I swear I've seen people talk about flipping their TPS sensor around so the wiring harness doesn't have to bend 180 degrees to plug into it, but for the life of me I can't find a writeup anywhere. I've searched all over here, robrobinette.com, fd3s.net, and elsewhere. I assume it's as simple as flipping the sensor and then swapping the ground and 5V wires, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
Anyone have a link? Thanks in advance.

Why would you have to swap the wiring ??? It still moves in the same direction and the connector is keyed....the only thing would be getting ist set correctly.

You're right. I was thinking that when you flipped it, the TPS would start reading backwards, but you're not actually flipping it, you're just spinning it, so that won't invert the signals. See, good thing I asked ...
And can you be more specific about "get ist set right?"

All you'd have to do is remove the tab on the TPS that engages the throttle mechanism and re-clock it so you could flip the TPS itself around. I've not looked close enough to see if that's easily done.
