Unhappy Flickering of driving lights...

Maybe someone can clue me in. I have a 96-style bumper and installed combo lights last year. I used the real Japanese lights and have two RE-Amemiya light adapters to hook up the lights to the stock wiring harness. The car's worked great since I installed the lights...up until now. Last month I installed a new battery and used a small extension cable for the positive hook-up...it's connected well. Anyhow getting to the problem, the combo lights have the turn signals in them and then they also have a "driving light" that comes on at night. I was using LED lights in the driving light spot. The other day one of the lights started flickering...and now they're both flickering when they're on. I thought maybe it was the battery connection but everything else on the car is working fine (even other lights). The LEDs aren't old, maybe 8 months or so although I guess they could be dying. I just don't understand why this started happening all of the sudden? Someone thought it might be a grounding issue but I don't see why this would happen all of the sudden and just to those lights. Does anyone have any other suggestions or things to check? I might try putting regular bulbs back in to see if they work.

Put some regular bulbs in to see if the problem is still there. After that, give us an update.

Well if anyone else gets this problem...I replaced the LEDs with the regular bulbs and they were working fine so I was a little confused. I thought maybe the LEDs drew more power or something and there was a grounding issue but it didn't make sense that it showed up just randomly. Also, the bulbs both started flickering around the same time. Anyhow I just bought a new pair of LEDs and thought I could return them if they didn't work. They work great so either the old LEDs got shorted or they just burnt out and they flicker when they get old. Well, problem solved
