fixing the heater

before when i had my 13b in the car it did not blow hot air (air temp at best) now that im taking the engine out and doing a ls1 is there anything that i can do to make the heat hotter (ive moved from fl to pa so winter wil be brutal)

I would start by flushing the heater core.

I had a COMPLETELY plugged core, and very successfully unplugged it. There is a thread on it somewhere.....

I suspect that it has nothing to do with your heater core, or piping. The "door" that should open to allow hot air into the system is probably stuck closed. It's the door that is adjusted by the temp **** on your dash. In order to fix it, much of the dash has to be pulled out.
