Fixing the Clunk...time to do it

ok. I am ready to fix this damn rear end clunk. I'm almost positive it is something to do with the trailing arms/toe links/ bushings....I know alot of people replace the bushing in the rear end there are 6?...

is it just a better idea to order rx7store trailing arms and toe links (they already include pressed bushings?)...total would be around $400...how hard would it be to install myself w/o air tools and sockets..i am slightly confused on what to replace exactly...when the car is jacked upand the wheels are moved by hand side to side they do not move much at all maybe few mm

Before you start buying parts pinpoint the clunk location first or you may end up spending a few grand to fix nothing. First thing you need to do is SEARCH, it will help you to locate certain clunks, then go from there. These cars are getting old, many many things start to "clunk"

Upgraded toe links and trailing arms have heim joints and are inserted into bushings on the rear control arms. The install is easy for most, and you will need to get it re-alligned afterward. Good luck in your search.
