Fixed my secondary turbo issue, but what is this small filter?

When I removed the pressure tank I noticed the line coming from the Y-pipe with the check valve that feeds the pressure tank had split, so as a temporary solution I electrical taped it until I can get some new ones and the secondary turbo is back, however I could not find diagram reference to that "filter" that sits in the holder with the vacuum line attached (it goes vac line from way below somewhere to this small black fitting that looks like a filter) is it supposed to be like that?

The check vavle in that line broke in half, that's you are looking at. You just need to replace the line and that check valve.

no, the check valve line was the one from the Ypipe, which i ghetto-fixed for now, what i'm speaking of is another line in the same vicinity that has a small black cylinder plugged into it with 3 air vents on the end and it looks like it's supposed to be like that, in the diagram there's what looks like a picture of it and it says "MT", manual transmission cars have this vent there for some reason?

I think you answered your own question, Frenzy.
My understanding is that the line with the little black filter is only used for the automatic transmission application. On manual tranny cars it just sits there and is not functional. The diagram is slightly confusing in this regard, too.

Just pulled my motor apart and if I recall correctly it just sits there in a clip at the front of the rats nest of vaccum lines. So, yep, it's as it should be.
