yea my car was ratteling like a freakin' snake and while some may find it entertaining, it annoyed me.

I had some cracked vent defrost thingy-mo-do-bobs so while ordering my new upper control arm I decided to get these. My rattle is gone, who would have thunk it?

 

Wow could they have broken in more pieces? heh mine are just as bad - how much do the replacements run?

 

I got mine at mazdaformance you dont get raped as bad. a normal dealer charges like 45 per defroster and 12.00 for the center piece. I think mazda formance charged like 25 per side and 5 for the center piece.

 

So the -7- is still on a winning streak then? Good to hear.

 

You betcha, my a/c decided to start working on position 2.5 again and I got my passenger upper control arm in the mail..

are you talking about the little defroster vents on top of the dash? Mine are cracked too. I wonder if that's what's causing my rattling.

 

yes it sounded like a freaking rattlesnake. I couldnt figure it out. atfirst it sounded like something was in my rear view mirror moving slowly (and not a mustang GT), then I thought maybe its something behind the dash. I had NO clue it was those broken pieces. I order new ones just cause.

heh, it's only entertaining when it happens to other people It's just a PITA when it's your own problem.

 

I've got both upper control arms, if you can cancel your order--I'll beat whomever's price...

are they brand new? I already got my drivers side yesterday, I was going to order the passenger side in about 3 weeks.

Yeah, mines is broken like that too, but it never rattled like that.

 

Maybe rattle is the wrong term but when going over bumps I hear plastic hitting plastic..kind of a squeek rattle? anyway, its gone now.

Everyone I'm talking to says theres is broken too, I thought I was the only one. LOL.
