I was underneath my car a few days ago checking to see if all my e-clips were still connected to the actuator rods when I noticed one of the Y-pipe gaskets were busted and hanging out of the side Y-pipe.

Today I replaced the shattered gasket and a split hose. Now it boosts 11psi with 9psi transition (used to be 5psi transition!). Here's a picture of the damage.



No I didn't pull the turbos for this , those are my old sequentials. Time to go back to the track today and see what time I can get now.

 

Cool. Did it make strange sounds when it was leaking?

 

Yeah....if you consider a girl screaming at the top of her lungs a strange sound lol.

 

Its not a strange sound, its the sound they make when you do your job right .
