Fixed fuel level problem, now wont start?

well, i noticed my fuel gague was stuck halfway, so i decided to clean out the sensor for the fuel level...

but now that i tried putting everything back together again, the car wont start. i have dual walbro's. is there something simple im missing? could the relay have gone bad? looks as if wiring is ok, what could it be

Random thought: Did you remember to connect the ground between the wiring and the fuel pump cover?

^^^thats what happened to me once, I forgot to connect the ground, the small black connector that goes to the little pin on top of the fuel pump/sending unit assembly, took me two days to figure out . My gauge is also stuck utill I drive for about half an hour, than it shows the actual level of fuel. Is there something that needs to be cleaned?
