Exclamation First time at the track, tell me what you think of my ET's!!!!!!

Alright, so I finally made it out to the track today, and damn it was fun!

So here is my best time slip, please analyze it and give me any advice you can.

60' 2.026
330 5.576
1/8 8.492
MPH 86.54
1000 10.964
1/4 13.04
MPH 108.77

*This was at 10-11psi!!!!!

My mods are listed in my sig, BUT the only diffrence is that I was only boosting 10-11 psi for some reason.
Is this a good time for 10-11 psi? Should I be in the 12's if I was boosting the normal 14?

This was on Yokohama AO32R's...I had them set at 5psi because the side walls are so strong......after a good burn out they hooked good, but everyone at the track was having traction problems....

so list your mods with your post - don't make us go find them! Nice numbers - I'm taking it this was on street tires? 14 psi would have given you 112 traps or so - again nice run for first time!

You bumped your time thread? Wow.

I think ETs are dumb.

Running street tires probably didn't help, but I think you could get that 60' time down below 2 seconds without much trouble and break into the 12's with low boost, and even on street tires.

Thats damn good if your car is an auto!

The times should be better but it's not to bad. Look at my sig for my mods and my 1/8 time and that was done on crappy 245 Perelli's wheel hoping all the way through first and stock boost. Temps and elevation also have an effect on the times though.

In third gear I start dropping boost down to 7-8psi and thats probably why my traps are lower.

Matt, The A032Rs are not street tires, they are competition tires for road racing/maybe autocross. I had a set and I can tell you that they launch pretty good on the street - not sure about a drag strip because I'm not into that.

Pressurized, Be careful running your Yoko's at pressures that low. I think you should check the manufacturer minimum specs before doing that, since I think drag radials are supposed to be run in the 10-20 psi range. hate to see you get a blowout and kiss a wall. Ouch.

If u are running that kind of ET with a stock engine and stock turbos at 10-11 psi, it is damn good. But why would you have a 1600.00 + FMIC for stock turbos running at 10-11 psi?? So I am guessing single, if that's the case then no, those are mediocre numbers at best.
Better yet, list your mods so we don't have to guess.

I don't think that you would want to run an m2 ecu with a single turbo so I would go with stock twins....could be wrong......
help us out here buddy.

My mods are listed in my sig,

Like I said before, the mods are listed in my sig. Unless you can't see them?

Intake
FMIC
DP
MP
CB

I normally boost around 14psi, but I had a leak on the day I ran and was only getting 10-11psi.

With those mod's and the radials, I would think you would've broke into the high 12's ... yes, yes, I know you were only pushing 10-11psi.

Anyhow ... you're pretty well setup. Go for the silicone hoses so you don't have to worry about a leak anymore. Nice time, man.

I say, next step ... non-sequential.
