yeah i dont know why but im leaving the hood un-painted for now. just giving it a try i guess... i can always have it painted after if i change my mind about it.

for now im also leaving the side scoops carbon fiber... i saw it done on alot of FD's when i was over in japan...so im giving that a try too.... more pics when i get it back this wekk...

Dude, that is what i want my car to look like. i have a silver fd as well, is that the stock paint or did you have it repainted a different silver? cuz i think i might have to repaint mine in the next year or so, but i want to keep it some kind of silver. nice car bro

yeah got it off ebay. fits AWESOME. nice even gaps and a good latch. 1/2 the price of a real one too... the finish on it is great, but i the wiper-sprayer holes had to be enlarged a little to fit the sprayers...

yep still factory silver. if i were to change the silver, i think i would go with a mercedes silver or the honda s2000 silver.

the new factory-color paint that the body shop just put on looks great though. i cant wait to get some good pics after its all cleaned up and on the road.

looks good except that mesh in the mouth of the bumper. that stuff really has to go.

 

Did you get the carbon fiber rear bumper also? And did you notice any noticeable weight difference between stock and cf pieces?

 

 

like `sl!mXP said silver and carbon together look awsome, if he paints the mesh black i think it would look better.
