Fire Out of Exhaust ?????
Hey Guys, I recently purchased a 94 RX7 TT, I am not all that familiar with it, I mean dont get me wrong I know an adequate amount of stuff but I can still leanr alot more, never have Ii had a car with this much power so I was wondering if it was perfectly normal for my car to shoot fire out of the exhaust...When I would rev it up and drop the clutch to race fire shot out !!! let me know guys
thanks, Chris
thanks, Chris
Yes, fire coming out of the exhaust while shifting at higher RPMs is normal for a rotary engine. My automatic (Yes I know, don't hassle me because I'll change the tranny eventually) shoots flames when I let off the gas and then slam it back on.
Well it shouldn't shoot flame's if you don't have full exhaust. I don't think it should shoot flames if you have any kind of cat also. Mine does backfire a little after hard accel then let off, with my current mods in sig.
