Question fire fighting, rx-7's love the road not the wrecking yards

i just bought a fd3(my first rx-7) and there was a fire under the hood oh-no lasted about 10 mins. damage is not to extensive..i can get it up and running with prolly just new wiring harnesses, does anyone know the place for wiring harnesses...all of them needed from replaced plugwires to starter wires, everything its probably gunna be a little costly.

yea i just purchased the car already burnt and from how burnt it was, i thought it was a good price...does'nt look that bad at all .the paint did'nt even bubble up, i doubt it got that hot...unfortunately everything plastic on the right side of the motor was looking a tad melted. ie main wire harness and front harness, however air box is fine and so is the battery. i figured previous owner was just told by a shop an insane price amount...beacuse they don't see an rx-7 3rd gen that often...hard to find parts, NOT impossible. i was thinking about the ls1 conversion does anyone know sites to purchase and install the ls1??

whats your budget for this project? I would say rip that engine out and put either a brand new mazda one or a built one from racing beat or pettit racing.

The place for a LS1 conversion is at Hinson Supercars

They do turn key as well as the parts you'll need to do it yourself.

Well it didn't even burn the sensors on the upper intake. The solenoids themselves were actually OK, although I didn't reuse them.

Here's another pic of the same car cleaned up.

Another.

If you look around the engine compartment you can see that not much really got burnt. Just the stuff directly to the pass side of the solenoid rack.
