Fire extinguisher in glove box

Hello all,

I need help tracking down a post I saw a while back.

There was a member who installed a fire extinguisher in his glovebox. I have searched for the last hour and just can't find it. Anyone have that picture? Or maybe have better searching techniques than me

Thanks guys!

Are you sure it was the glove box? I can't imagine a fire extinguisher of the size to be able to fit into the glove box being able to do anything to an engine fire.

Its pretty small and might fit. But you might want something bigger as this might not be BIG enough... I also have 5lb'er.

Yeah I have a bigger FE in the car. THis is just all for looks. That 1 lbs has some bling to it. I might hit ya up on that once I figuer out the mount.

If I ever find that picture I will throw it out here. I have 4 fd's and 3 of them have beat glove boxes. 2 of them I was able to rig shut. This other one is just a complete mess though.

thx guys

I would not mount even the smallest of extinguishers inside the glovebox. They break enough as it is. I can't imagine putting that much weight inside one.

Looks like he took out the glove box all together. Those small ones are worthless and wouldn't put out a bbq grill fire in my opinion. I carry two 5lb ones in my car.
