Cm'On Mr. J, Not if it is done correctly like I have done.

(1) yes, the PFS Purple Box is crap and should ne extinct.
(2) E85 requires about 35% more flow than gasoline. Thus your injector sizing is way too small.
(3) Do research before starting a project which is foreign to you.

1) Already covered multiple times

2) 550 + 850 = 1400
850 + 1200 = 2050
1400 x 1.47 = 2058 Which was the way I looked it up originally when researching flow rates via one of the many links provided here in the FAQ section.
However if done Separately:
550 x 1.47 = 808.5
850 x 1.47 = 1248.5

3) Obviously I did and then came back to share thoughts on it, it would seem that you feel the understanding of transitioning from one style to another is nothing to be concerned or cautious with. I pref to be careful and take my time.

I ran 550/1200 = 1750, on gas to make 350 whp at a safe duty cycle.
With E85 that would require about 2363. That is close to running 850/1600.
Maybe you are not planning on running over 14PSI boost?

No I plan on leaving it where it is as I said before. I want to see what I think of the Rotary first then I will redo the Engine Management, up the boost, start preparing for a build and go with larger injectors for more boost at that point.

I agree to push more boost I will want bigger injectors on e85 unless I do as recommended and switch to water injection which I am giving serious thought to now after what I have been told here. Sounds like a very good idea with these motors over e85.

I am running 8-13PSI and using 550 and 1300CC injectors with a supra fuel pump. I am running gasoline and will be installing water injection here soon.....I am also installing 2 cycle oil that the OMP will inject instead of regular motor oil.

The source of carbon comes from the engine oil....its also engine oil that isn't meant to be burned.

The root cause of the carbon is the engine oil being burned. 2 cycle oil is made to be burned....so I think its a better option for a cleaner engine....you remove the source of the carbon.

I am running the water injection system as it clean and cools the engine. both great attributes for a rotary. Increased knock protection.

I know a lot of people mix oil into the gasoline.....but I am not a keen on that...not sure how the fuel filter/injectors/FPD/etc like having oil being passed through them.
