Finished, Polished and Waxed ***PICS***

Well I got a lot of little things completed on my car today. Installed fuel pump, fuse for battery, breather can, and polished and waxed her. Here are some pics for you guys to enjoy. (sorry for the low quality pics, is am stuck in the dark ages with a 1.3 mega camera)

Thanks for all the compliments. It is amazing what a buffer and some 3m polishing compound will do for a ten year old paint. I also used that new wax by meguires. The stuff is very easy to apply and shines just as good as Ziano. I don't think I will go back to Ziano.

Racing beat Type 1, I have had it for about 4 years. It is slightly larger than stock, but no goofy looking.

nice job.

your car looks great, but please post some additional info about this new wax from Meguiar's. I love the whole product line that they have, but have not heard about a new wax product.

Thanks, and again, your car looks great !

Hey, don’t make fun of the size of my tip, I am very sensitive about it.

Bad jokes aside, I really don’t like the look of that exhaust either. I really don’t feel like dropping $500 more for a RB dual. I do have to say that this exhaust looks stupid, but I think it sounds great. It isn’t that loud and has a deep tone to it. I was thinking of cutting the tip off and putting a 3” tip on it. I think this might make it look a little better.

I had the same CB. I just took it off in favor of a PFS piece.

I thought you had a CYM...oh well.

How long did it take you for the oil catch can. That's on my to do, but not a big priority right now.

Lookin good....

The catch can probably took me about an hour. I made a really simple bracket to attach it to the nut on the main fuse box. The hardest part was the 15 minutes I spent at home depot trying to figure out which fittings to use. OH well...

I will try to take some more pictures of it next time I am working on my car.

The new wax is Meguirs NxT. I really don't know much about it accept I like it better than Ziano which I have been using for about three years. It is VERY easy to apply and shines just as good if not better than 8 coats of ziano. I don't know how long it will last, I will give and update in a month or two.
