No other than you lose the high beam, they use the stock crap housing and are illegal.

Thanks for all the compliments. I hope to get more photos and a video of how far it illuminates down the road this weekend.

Since it is dark so often now that it is almost winter, these lights are a *safety* issue =)

I'd like to know as well. I've been looking for a HID kit for my car. The headlights are so dim, it's almost the same as driving without any lights at all.
