finish this thread (eliminating the FPD)

after doing searches...the topic about eliminating the FPD if you have an SX or Aeromotive FPR was really never finished. now that some of you have done it, is it okay to do? i am at the point to were i need to buy a new one or just do away with it. anybody care to share?

I asked around an was told that the SX Regulator has no dampening capabilities built-in.

However, I did read someone on here removing the FPD and just using the SX unit without any problems. There are aftermarket regulators that are suppose to have dampening capabilities built in, however I'm not sure which ones those are....

When I bought my SX from RP they also sold me a stronger damper for ike 135.
