I personaly love silver! Maybe a different shade? Keep in mind when you change to different colers that to do it right you must remove much of the interior and paint the engine bay. Or it will look half *** IMO.

Good luck with the car.

if it's been sitting in a warehouse for 3 years how is the overall condition of the rest of the car? i would make sure everything is mechanically sound before worrying about the paint, but that's just me. i have a messed up door that i haven't fixed in two years

yea really, make sure everything is running correctly before you go out and spend $2k on a paint job when what you really need is $2k to rebuild the twins.

anyways, lets see some pics of her when you get a chance!

stick with the silver. I think its the best color for an fd and a lot less time and money envolved in the paint job.Make sure the shop (or you) removes everything that doesnt get painted, to keep edges from chipping.

Silver is one of the most rare and best colours for a FD. And it's a REAL pain to change colours. (Door jambs, engine bay etc) If you don't do those areas it looks really cheap.

And it definitely needs wheels. Stockers aren't cutting it.

I think it looks a bit too much show for my taste. The RX-7 is really nice with a stock look. I would rather use money on a little more go, instead of all that show.
