wow nice car man. Looks great. Have you noticed a big difference in the stopping power? i know the centercaps gauve you an extra 10-20 horse...they work the same way as V-Tec and Type R stickers right? the 99 spec lip looks really good. It looks like it fits better than most of the other ones that i have seen. Which manufacturer makes it and where did you get it? Thanks a lot.

Beautiful car, Rich. I love the polished calipers. Why the hell do you have Jersey plates?

dude! nice shots. do you keep the stock rims by choice? I ask because I like the immediate handling of the stockers better than the fatties the car had for awhile. zig and zags like a mad pinball - street car anyways.

how about a shorter shifter?

and finally, is that one of those anti-photo license covers? ifso it's working really good! I got one off ebay but not put on yet.

Are those your tire marks in the 5th picture?? Spinning her around for the shot like Ace Ventura?

BTW...my motor's blown
Good thing is that it still drives and lopes that I have a 455 big block
It's going back to its home away from home(RP) next week.
But enough about my car...this is your thread!

BEAUTIFUL CAR, MAN!

Rich,

Awesome example of how great detail work can make a FD look. The wheels and brakes are spanking.

What's next?

Yes, the car stops better. I need to bleed the brakes, so they don't feel that great right now. The centercaps and frontlip spoiler came from RP (rx7.com, 972 530 3335) and kick ***. I love 'em.

<<but MAN, you look like you parked a LITTLE too close to the water! >>Flybye

Yeah, no ****...I made sure the e-brake was up and she was in gear

<<Is that Sillhouse reservoir in the background? Or Lake Belton?

It's stillhouse hollow lake...yes, the fort hood area does indeed blow goats

<<puma damn i like this intercooler. what is it? m2?

M2 large. I think it's a Spearco core. Not sure, but I'm very happy w/it. Expensive as ****; I found mine in like-new condition for ~500 less than new.

<<DamonB Beautiful car, Rich. I love the polished calipers. Why the hell do you have Jersey plates?>>

Yeah, a local guy that polishes pipes did the calipers for 100 bucks. He said it took him over 16 hours and he would never do them again. I have NJ plates b/c it pisses off all the hicks in this area and b/c I'm proud to be from the Garden State. Every time I race a Rustang, not only is he looking at a flame blowing out my tailpipe, he also gets to comtemplate the beauty of the Garden State

<<HADNSE dude! nice shots. do you keep the stock rims by choice? I ask because I like the immediate handling of the stockers better than the fatties the car had for awhile. zig and zags like a mad pinball - street car anyways.

I like the stock rims; strong and light and I'd rather spend my cash on performance upgrades. Short shifter sometime in the future. No, the plate was just airbrushed off, that's all. I'm working on getting an FD3S vanity plate :p

Believe it or not, the skid marks are coincidence. Looks pretty cool though. Hey, check out the South forum...party at Steve Kan's place! Limp your busted-*** rex to Steve's place, man

<<RX7-2JOCK Lookin Good man>>

That is what all the ladies tell me

<<Mmaragos Rich,

Spanking? I haven't spanked anyone in a while ...
Next? 99 spec taillights any day now, Secondary injectors, HKS twin power.

<<weaklink nice car Rich...gonna order my efini center caps soon. oh yeah, where did you get the mud guards-a factory option I know, but do you know where I can get some now? >>

Try www.gallery-group.com That's where I got mine.

Thanks for all the compliments guys; It's nice to know my hard work paid off

Efini center caps: Rotary Performance (rx7.com), ~$22 apiece.

Polished brake calipers: Local guy, $100, swore he's never do it again
