As with any HID, however, proper aiming is critical to lighting performance.

I've been too damn busy to take pics of my beams, and I don't have a stock headlight FD for a side-by-side comparison, but I'll try and get something together in the future.

I mounted my ballasts on the body ledge just beneath the headlight assembly. Fit fine, is close enough to the ignitor to avoid any problems, and doesn't have any clearance issues with the headlight when it retracts.
This is proper cutoff. I can stand in front of my car and with the lights shining on my legs, it is a night and day cutoff within an inch. Even with my lights like this, I have had people tell me they are bright even though the beam does not hit them.

I don't want to come off as an ***, but I just hate it when people put HID's in their stock Civic housings and drive around blinding everybody. Thats why they made it illegal.

So how do you get proper cutoff? These lights remind me of when I was in an S2K. They lit up the whole road and on the sides of the road. Also had that multi color look at different angles. Please tell how you get your lights to look like that. I really like the look and how much more they light up the road.

I also hate those damn civics with HIDs blinding everyone, but with these, they serve the purpose of what they are made for...lighting up the road, not people in their cars.

You will have to make them. It isn't too difficult but is kinda costy.

Its funny how you're worried about blinding other people when basically any car oncoming or in the back is blinding us. Therefore, I just drive around with my stock highs on because I guess I dont really give a f*ck & IMO pretty much any car out there has the effect of high beaming us.

Trucks/SUVs are the worse, I think they should have headlights that point straight at the ground.

BTW that's a pretty good cutoff

Fumanchu, Your light were projector lenses correct? If they were, then that's why you have the sharp cut off.
