I removed that flapper or butterfly or whatever that was in the Ypipe. No more noise!


I was kinda turned off by how the 2 pieces of the Ypipe just snap together. You can just take it apart w/o any resistance. I don't know how it holds boost pressure.
Woulbe be better if the small piece screws onto the bigger piece. Oh well.

 

Did the non-seq mod on my car a while ago BTW. So I don't need this.

 

ummm the seal on that mother ****** should have been tight as hell.... I know I have a good time gettin mine apart..

Time to go find a new o-ring that would fit.

Was it a clicking noise when you hit the gas. The more you hit the gas the louder it is? Cause i have the same problem after I went non-seq.

 

No, it like a tapping noise when the car is at idle. It stops when I step on the gas.
You might wanna give it a shot though. You're non-seq, so you don't need it. Doesn't hurt.
