finally got new spark plugs in

thanks to everyone who helped out. I got my new NGK 7's and 9' in. I finally changed the old ones after 30k. Note to self and to others, please don't wait that long to change them. They looked all burnt out, and now, the car runs even smoother than it already did. Smooth idle, along with better throttle response... maybe it's just in my head. I also accompanied that with an oil change. Next on my list is a coolant, tranny, and diff flush.

By the way, for those of you who are curious, I changed the plugs from the top, and didn't have to remove ANYTHING. My car is mostly stock, save for dp, KnN, and catback.... but I still managed to change it from the top. The best tool? A wobble head ratchet...

personnaly i have tried wobble head rachets and i hate them with a passion for this application, give me a snubby (shorter) ratchet any day. more importantly though i think is a deep enough sparkplug socket. i tried using one which is just right which is too short for me i think and it aggravated the hell out of me haha

I too change it from the top and dont have any problems

Damn 30K?! I'm surprised there was even an electrode left on any of the plugs to even fire after that many miles...

On a side note, I'll be changing my plugs out shortly, what is the correct socket size to get? And roughly how deep of a socket do you guys have?
