rx7 1997 - or we could just check the profile

afaik (just checked interior pics from 91 to 02) oval holes on ALL jdm FDs (I've only seen the round ones on the US cars)

Yeah sorry I forgot to mention what year it is.
Its a 96rs model.

Is anyone familiar with the SAFCII ?
The knock sensor readings seem to be slowly increasing as I am driving it. Especially when its idling.

Im not sure if the SAFCII actually decects knock or just calculates the possiblity of knock occuring.

The switch near the stereo is a fan control unit.

DAIONE I envy you being out there in Niigata...more open roads out there? Tokyo is just stop and go.

I'm on sadogashima - so it's hit and miss - but great driving if you like the 'twistys'. Enough straights to hit the limiter as well.
