Finally Got My FD!!!!
Finally Got My FD!!!!
Hey everyone. I've been working on this same rx7 for about 3 months. The previous owner was cool and worked with me and my bank. We went through so much just to get this in my garage! It's a 93 and it does not run. It's a 5 speed. I am going to attempt to rebuild the motor myself. I have a lot of plans for this car. I'm just so excited that I finally got it! The pictures I have are a bit too big... So if someone wants to host them I can send them.

I got it for $8,000 and I believe it's been repainted Red. The original color was VR though. I plan on repainting that anyway so it doesn't matter to me what color it is.
I'll be taking some more pics of it either Monday or Tuesday. When I took the first pictures I didn't change any of the settings on my camera so they were a bit large for this site. I changed the settings for the new pics so they will be a bit smaller and hopefully will be able to get them on here. Thanks for the support everyone as I can't wait to get this beauty back on the road. I have never driven an FD or any RX7 for that matter, so this will be VERY exciting for me!
Congrats!... I'm rebuilding my engine right now with pics, check sig... So if you have any questions when you start the rebuild I'll try and answer them
.
EDIT: guess the sig doesn't show https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/project-just-beginning-pics-365794/

Just open the pics up in MS Paint and use the IMAGE drop down on the toolbar and then STRETCH/SKEW to adjust the size of the image until it is less than 100kb. Then you can post the pics W/ the Manage attachments option.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I know I'm going to love it! I CAN'T WAIT!
jfxp, I will definately be contacting you if I have any questions. Oh, I have one right now..
What rebuild kit did you use? I plan on using the Rotary Aviation kit and using Bruce's videos. Just wish he would convert them to DVD.
