Finally got my car back, a few pics.

You might remember that I blew my engine a while ago and my car was at Rotary Power for a while:

Well I finally got it back, here are a few pics of it now.

I have about 300 miles left on the break-in period, then I go back for the final dyno and street tuning for the PFC.

Awesome car! My car is at Rotary Power right now. I stopped by there yesterday to drop off more parts. They sure do take a long time...

Thanks everyone. Yeah, Rotary Power does take a while because they always have a ton of work, when they finally do start working on your car they work on it till late at night. I think it's worth it because they do a great job. I passed by once at about 9PM and they were still working on my car.

Haha yea, I'm sure they do a great job. What did they do to your car? I have a broken water seal so my engine needs to be rebuilt. It sure is expensive though, they're thinking it's going to be around $5,000 minimum...but that seems kind of high considering the engine was rebuilt by Mazda (not my choice, previous owners choice) around 20,XXX miles ago. I wish they started on my car sooner though. I dropped it off a few weeks ago and they said they'll start in around 2 weeks. I'm planning on painting too for SS8 so I wish they would start sooner.

This is what I got done and installed by them:
Rebuild with new rotor housings and rotors, race port, 3mm apex seals, water passage porting, new turbos, 750cc primaries, 1300cc secondaries, greddy pulleys, supra tt fuel pump, greddy 2 row fmic, efini y-pipe, fluidyne radiator, aluminum AST, ACT streetlite flywheel, removed air pump, custom fitted my HKS intakes, MSD 6A on leading, PFC tuning (not finished yet), and some other small things that I can't remember.

I had a mazda reman a while ago, didn't last long either, water seals went out after about 22,000 miles. The Rotary Power rebuild might seem a little expensive, but it will definitely last much longer and it will be more fun depending on what you are getting done.

Not sure yet, they still haven't thoroughly checked the engine. How much did you pay for yours allrotorfd? Sounds like it'd be $9-$12 thousand.
