Um, wouldn't that mean you should have been going slower than what you thought and not got the ticket?

Things I like:
Dash Bezel
Good Condition
The red 'Stang in the first pic
Gauges (very schweet)

Things I don't like too much:
Rear Spoiler (that thing is hideous!)
Side Skirts (detracts from the clean lines of the 7)

I agree, these cars only look worse when they get body kits. I probably haven't seen that many with body kits close up but I'm yet to see one that has a good fit. Modifications, in my opinion, look best on the 7 when they are subtle.

The side skirts and spoiler were on the car when I bought it. The spoiler is almost the same as the 99+ spec one so it's not really that big of a difference. I've seen another 7 with the same side skirts molded to the car and they look alot better than mine.

The only mods I had done to the car were performance. When I bought the car it had the white gauges, headlights, interior silver stuff (which is not just around the gauges), and body kit already on it.

And that Mustang in the first pic has more rice than my car. Audiobahn sticker, full body kit (including hood with 2 seperate fake scoops), 6x9 speakers in the back sticking out w/no grills so in case you thought his sticker was out of place, he actually has audiobahn gear, and, here is the best part, it's a completely stock V6!

congrats man! I'm not crazy about body kits either, but yours is fairly tasteful in the silver paint. love that it's a base model, too...love the double bubble roof!

just a suggestion, my speedometer used to read around 80 when i was goin 50 and like 120 when i was pullin around 80. My problem ended up being a misplaced AC fuse. So I'd just run through your fuses and make sure theyre in the right spot, and make sure theyre not blown.

clean car. I've always wanted a silver or black FD.

My rx7 sign on the back is gone too. It was jack when I was at school.

Sweet car! I almost got silver, but went with black. I actually like the spoiler, its not subtle but not crazy. The side body kit would look better with a subtle front kit. Love the guages, I want some!

Wow, I can't believe this thread came back.

Yeah the engine that you saw in it was sold to another guy. I bought the chassis and had an engine built and put in. The engine that used to be in there I heard was a beast, single turbo, whole 9 yards (I didn't have quite that much money to deal with when I bought it).

I'll have to run thru the fuses when I get a chance. The speedo is off about 12 kph (used pfc to check). I just use the PFC as my speedo (as well as other gauges) and the AFC for a tach.

I like the spoiler because it looks a lot like the '99 spec wing. I'm going to keep both parts. I need to get the car repainted soon and I'm thinking of getting the side skirts molded to the body (another guy here had the same ones molded to his car and they looked awesome). I do agree that something like a FEED front end with the '99 spec combo lights would look better altogether. The side skirts throw the lines of the car off a little bit but I'll fix all that when I have the money.

The headlights are the East Bear kit and they look alright but were installed wrong by the previous owner and the lighting SUCKS. I hate them but not because of the way they look. I wouldn't mind going back to the stock pop ups if it meant I could see at night.

The only things that have changed since I last posted about the car are I got a PFC, AFC, black on silver efini emblems and an RB dual tip to replace the HKS 'Maxwell House special' (as my roommates dubbed it). I'll take some pictures and upload them here when I get a chance.

I think I answered all the questioned asked since I last posted. If I didn't answer a question pm me or just post here.

Thanks for the compliments.

You don't need to change the whole cluster. I've changed the tach on my old FD.
Actually if you take it apart and check it out, it might be an easy fix. I found that the needle on mine was stuck at 300rpm. Just tip it a lil bit and it would unstick and move back down to 0 by itself. Give that a try.

Yea, it does. You going to find all old post and congratulate them on their new (old) purchase as well? Don't be an ***. You didn't look at the date and posted, so don't blame me for it.

If you have any other problems, please send them via PM.
