Finally got around to installing my rear arm set

Trailing arms and toe-control links.

Noticed:

1. Decreased clunking. I've still got a few minor ones though.

2. Increased hardnes of impact over seams (I don't really care about this).

3. Wheel hop GREATLY reduced.

4. Throttle application *very* direct and immediate.

5. More predictable and linear toe and rear-end tracking. The car isn't trying to outthink you.

6. Just plain more solid rear-end feel.

Curious as to the previous car behavior and difference after installing the arms/links with regards to this. Can you elaborate?

Deacon,

Install was easy - a couple small annoying things, but that's about it. I measured the distances for the mounting holes of the previous arms and tried to match, but by no means should you stay like this after installation. Alignment is *required*.

Kento,

Really the only way I can put it is that the car is less vague now. It was never extremely vague nor did the rear-end feel like the dynamic toe in an FC, for instance, but now the turn in characteristics have more of a direct relationship with throttle application and cornering load - whereas before the car had a non-linear feel in how the suspension reacted under throttle load. I haven't really been able to continue testing as today it's pouring rain.

I just put the Rotary Extreme toe links and trailing arms on my car. I also installed H&Rs, Bilsteins, Racing Beat sway bars, and new pillow ball bushings.... only problem is that I'm only now sending my engine out to get rebuilt so it'll be about 3 weeks before I get a chance to drive it, but I'm going straight to the alignment shop when its done.
