Finally FIxed my boost issue, 10-8-10
Finally FIxed my boost issue, 10-8-10
I have been plagued by a gremlin. I thought that it was vacuum related but that was not the case. Apparently the guy who sold the car didnt want to get down and dirty. I peeled back some heat sheilding near the pre-cat and found that the turbo control actuator, I believe, the farthest one back, was disconnected. THe rod had come off the arm due to a missing c-clip. I am still leaking a bit of oil but now I can do it under boost.
I'd kill for a 10-8-10 pattern. Unfortunately, mine is like 6-4-6 or 8-6-8 -- and it SUCKS.
I ran a 14.2 @ 98 at the track, but I had to shift really slowly b/c of my hot clutch. Does this number look right to you if I was boosting on those lower patterns?
