Yeah, reliability mods are the first on my list. I've already got the silicon hoses and the Aluminum AST. By the way, what is the oil mod?

I'm in need of a rebuild and I was considering pulling the engine myself. What all do I need? Is it worth saving 1000 bucks? Why wouldn't you want to do it again on your car? How much is one of those engine lift thingies?

Thanks for the advice/help!

I could name all the tools if I had to. There are some pain the the a$$ "speed-bumps" along the way of getting it out. It's way worth saving $1 grand because you may not get it done as fast but on the other hand you will gain the knowledge and have an extra 1000 bucks. I wouldn't (or should I say don't want to) take the engine out on my car again because I don't want it to blow in the next 50,000 miles at least, and my "cherry picker" was $150 (engine puller). Keep on posting Thanks for the comments, boost's my confidence
