If you don't know the maintenance history, the FPD (Fuel Pulsation Dampener) needs to be taken care of (replaced).

hey guys, at least hes owned an rx7 before. most people get into FDs and have only ever driven hondas. Good luck with the car man, its a blast. just dont get hurt or into trouble.

Another useful question for the FD guru's, Im looking for a really deep sounding exhaust system, Downpipe, catback, everyying, I hate the whiny sounds of hondas and acuras, The only way to know the sound is from experience of other members because the site won't say : "This one sounds deep, This one sounds whiny" Something that is for performance but doesn't sound like a lawnmower, more like one of those TT 300zx's with any catback. the deeper the better, tell me your opinions, thanks! and illl try to keep out of trouble fastcarfreak.
