Finally **POLISHED** my engine bay **Pics**

After a few months of sending parts out, maintaining the motor, and WAITING, I finally got my FD back with my complted polishing project and I am very happy with the results!

The only thing I'm missing is a TurboJeff battery tray or something similiar to replace the stock black plastic box, which I currently have an Optima 51R in.

Check it out:

If anyone can resize the pics and repost, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks for looking,

Ian

Looks great... I'm jealous

But I'm starting to see why some of the senior members here get frustrated about duplicate posts... There's a multi-multi page thread for engine bay pics... Here

Looks great... let me know if you want to get rid of the stock battery tray. I've been looking for one in good condition.

Thanks guys....I sent all the parts to a professional polisher in Ft. Lauderdale...it took him about a month to get it all done and cost me about $1,100....money well spent, seeing that it would probably take me that long on just the UIM and it wouldn't nearly look that good!

Oh, and nothing is chromed...absolutely everything is polished aluminum(oh...except the AST cap from fighter's garage)

If anyone knows where I can get a nice looking battery tray, please let me know. I'm also looking for one missing screw for the M2 intake, as one never came with the intake from the seller and I'd really like an original matching screw to finish of the box. You can see the one missing on the bottom left hand side of the box.

Thanks again,

Ian

That's the old Pettit Coolcharge II duct...with a little cutting, it fit perfectly.

I think fighters garage has a mini battery kit with a tray. I'm sure it could be polished if it isn't already.

he said everything was polished so it wouldnt have made any sense to get that dipped and everything else professionally polished.
