Fighters Garage Battery Tray

Does anyone have a picture of one not installed? I'm trying to see if this is a suitable substitute to the rotary extreme mini battery kit. I'm wondering because the fighters garage unit is $194 and comes with the battery. I'm going vmount and need a battery asap. The rotary extremes are obviously not made anymore, and the only one for sale on the forum is $300 plus shipping.

I don't have pictures of it uninstalled, but it hugs the frame rail as closely as you can. It leaves quite a bit of room. This was before I redid the positive terminal to let it sit right. This was just test fitting.

RXtacy...why does yours look crooked? The RE version looks like it's closer in. I don't know...

Like I said that was just test fitting. The positive terminal was too long and pushing the battery and in turn the tray. I don't have any experience with the RE kit, but it seems to me that the fighters garage kit goes over as far as possible. They both use the PC680 as well.

If i remember correctly, one or more of the guys that worked at RE went and created Fighters Garage. The battery tray and there trailing and toe links are supposed to be the same.

RXtacy is the long end on the mbk the front or the rear? I saw Touge Monsters for sale thread and saw a picture of the tray itself. They look nice, and look a little more beefy on the bottom mounting. If the long end is the rear, it would actually be in the closest position as it can get. The mounting points on the RE mbk are in the middle of the tray. If the fighters mbk long end is in the front than the RE kit is actually closer.
