Question Few ?'s about the RX-7

The first thing i would like to ask is... How reliable is the rotary engine in the cars? If they aren't reliable how much would it cost to make the engine strong enough to run an 1/8 and street race a few cars like once or twice a week running about 10- 15 pounds of boost? Another ? is if I'm running in the 1/8 and going street racing once or twice a week would the R1 Package be the best one for me to buy? Thanks for your advice in advance! And I hope to being joining the few people in my area of owning a "Sexy Rexy" soon!
