Few questions

So, before, I tried to turn the engine over by hand, after a lot of tugging, got it to budge about a quarter of a turn where it stopped and I couldn't move it. Fast forward to today, I got most of the electricals figured out. Yesterday, I hooked up a new battery, heard it turn over once(i'm pretty sure anyways) and then stopped because i wanted fuel in the car. Put fuel in the car, went to start..and click? sorta of. It clicks and the gauges turn off. and when I stop trying, the gauges turn back on. I can't move the engine at all. I'm pretty positive the starter worked yesterday...

Also, anyone know what this is and where it goes and how i'm suppose to route it.

There was also a orange connector stuck to the same wiring and i'm not quite sure which way to route it or where its suppose to connect to.

and last, anyone know the best place to get the door striker(the part the door latches on to when you close it) and this pin that i'm using an allen wrench currently.
