few problems with the new FD

So im planning on getting the car inspected tomorrow but i remembered the reverse lights weren't working. I pulled the bulbs and they are fine and i cannot figure out why. are the reverse lights on a seperate fuse then the rest of the back lights and if so where is it because i couldnt find it.

also, the car has been having issues going into reverse to where i have to actually push the car back so it will finally go into reverse. what could that be?

EDIT: Also, i ran error codes on my car and it seemed to pull a 4, it blinked 4 times with no difference between blinks. But there is not error code 4, so im very confused.

Put your car on a lift and look at the transmission. The reverse lights switch is on the top right side of the transmission. My reverse lights weren't working because the wires that went into the clip had broken off.

There is a reverse switch on the transmission that engages the lights, mine is shot too, i think it's a 50$-ish dollar part.

If your CEL is not on, then it's an old code. Unhook your batterty and pumping the brakes should clear the stored CEL's, and then you'll know if it comes back or not.

Isn't CEL#4 the knock sensor?
