A few little known but great JDM parts!
Well, I thought I'd share a few little known JDM parts w/ you guys
1) JUN AUTO REINFORCED REAR SUB-FRAME
With the FD's rear sub-frame's long structure in the vertical direction, rigidity isn't being taken into consideration with the installation point of control arms that were placed far from main frame. Therefore, the suspension doesn't show it's full effect because the sub-frame gets twisted when use high grip tires or during circuit racing. JUN researched the OEM design's weak point, and reinforced it.
A wheel alignment is necessary after installing. Exchange of control arms and/or rubber bushings is also recommended to take full advantage of this product.

2) NAGISA AUTO HIGH CAPACITY TRANSMISSION OIL PAN (MT)
Cast aluminum transmission oil pan is lightweight and durable. Heat exchange fins and larger capacity keep gear oil temperature low. For 5 speed MT models only.
Capacity is increased by .5 liters
At higher temperatures, the transmission gear oil can lose it's efficiency, and cause notchy shifting, a common cause of the 2nd to 5th gear mis-shift which will damage the synchromesh gears.
The significantly larger heat exchange fins and increased capacity on this piece help dissipate heat much quicker.

3) NAGISA AUTO SHAKITTO SHOCK TOWER PLATE
Improved brake response and stability is gained by adding the Shakitto Plate!
This is a completely brand new product by Nagisa Auto that helps reduce the load on the shock towers, especially during heavy braking.
Drastic improvements are achieved without needing to modify or weld the frame with obtrusive support bars. Bolts onto factory locations, and can complements a tower brace setup.
Some kits come with guide inserts to assist in installation. Some kits may require drilling.

Aaaaaand...of course, all these great products (as well as virtually anything you can think of that's available in Japan) can be provided to you by your local RX7Club Forum vendor JDM Parts Junkies, FDNewbie Imports!

I got the Jun subframe since mine had been damaged in a curbing incident. Figured if I'm gonna spend the money to FedEx a subframe I might as well upgrade. Unfortunately, I only drove it home from the shop and then got deployed to Italy (rough let me tell you). So no opinion on any improvement/stiffness.
